What began as a small family owned, women led storefront in the French Quarter has grown into a full Mardi Gras lifestyle brand, serving both retail customers and wholesale partners. Today, Mardi Gras Creations remains a small family owned business but has blossomed into the go-to source for high quality deign-forward pieces ready to threaux down. From individuals to krewes and businesses, we serve those looking to bring the energy of Carnival to life—whether on the parade route, at a masquerade ball, or in everyday celebration.

From our first container of feather boas our wholesale division has grown to support krewes, retailers, and organizations throughout the United States, offering curated collections, custom design capabilities, and unique small batch creations. We understand the logistics, timelines, and expectations that come with Mardi Gras—and we build our process around delivering on all three on top of creating high quality designs.

A STRATEGIC SHIFT
In 2018, Mardi Gras Creations made the decision to close its downtown New Orleans storefront and refocus the business for long-term growth.
We transitioned our primary operations to our warehouses in Harvey on the Westbank—bringing us closer to the heart of our design, production, and distribution. This shift allowed us to scale more efficiently to better serve our ever growing online and social media presence as well as wholesale, and expand our reach beyond foot traffic into a broader, more dynamic customer base.
What started as a physical storefront evolved into a more agile, design-driven model—one built to support larger orders, faster fulfillment, and the growing demand for unique and innovative designs.

DESIGNED IN NEW ORLEANS
Everything begins in our Harvey showroom on the Westbank of New Orleans, where each design is thoughtfully developed from the ground up. From selecting the exact shades of purple, green, and gold to testing the placement, durability, and finish of every rhinestone and gemstone, every detail is considered in-house.
Our team refines each piece through detailed sampling—adjusting fit, color balance, and embellishments—until it feels right both visually and functionally. This process ensures that what ends up on the route isn’t just eye-catching, but well-made, wearable, and built to hold up throughout the celebration.
